Photography Appointments

Appointments are made in advance, subject to availability of studio. We do evenings, and weekends (including Sundays). Please give as much notice as possible. We cannot guarantee specific dates until booked

Booking

We ask for a booking fee of fifty percent of the total cost (deducted from the total amount) when booking for all sessions. This can be paid over the phone by card, by post, or in person at the studio. Once booked in the diary, the studio and photographer's time is dedicated to you: the booking fee is then transferable to another person, but not to another date or time. This is a no-cancellation policy

Balance

The balance of the cost of the session is payable on the day of photography or before

Cost

The current price of £50 for the Kool family shoot (excluding offers or promotions) includes a photography session, plus an A4 print in a folder

Arrival time

We try to be flexible and are understanding but at especially busy times, late starts may reduce the time of a studio session

Client photography and videos

We ask that clients do not take their own photographs or videos at anytime during their visit to the studio W

Gift vouchers

The value of gift vouchers may be used to purchase any product or service from us. Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash

Time limit of gift vouchers

Unless otherwise stated on the voucher, the validity is for six months. We cannot guarantee specific dates for availability. Please bring the voucher with you to the session

Once the client has booked the appointment, in the diary, the studio and photographer's time is dedicated to those arrangements. £25 of the value of the gift voucher is treated as a booking fee for this appointment. The booking fee is then transferable to another person, but not to another date or time. This is a no-cancellation policy.

Promotional offers

Only one promotional offer is accepted per session. Any promotional offers may be withdrawn at any time by Koolpics

Viewing sessions

We ask for you to give three alternative dates for your viewing sessions. This helps us, at busy times, to be able to dedicate unhurried, quality time for you, with our expert photoshop operator/photographer

Print orders

Payment for orders is asked for at the time of ordering. Print orders normally take two weeks to be prepared. If you have a special reason, we may be able to reduce this time. We cannot guarantee production times

Access

There is free close-by parking. Please note though that the studio is on the top floor of the mill building. There is a lift for goods only. There are sixty four steps with a hand-rail except pr the last twelve steps. Please let us know of any access issues before the appointment

Payments

We are able to take cash or cheques made out to 'Nigel Tissington Photography' at the studio; all major credit card and debit cards (except American Express); paypal; or automated credits by internet banking (bacs)

Products and complaints

In the unlikely event of complaint of a product supplied by us, we ask that the client contacts us in writing within fourteen days of receiving the product. We cannot be liable for any issues lodged after after this period

Liability

We are not liable for any loss or damage, whether suffered by the purchaser (client) or by any associate of the purchaser and whether direct or indirect, consequential or howsoever arising, caused by our any of products or services

Copyright

All photography produced by Nigel Tissington Photography is copyright and it is illegal to copy reproduce the images without permission. We are protected by the 1998 Copyright Act

Digital Images

Licence to use digital images is attached to the images. Any use beyond the license including commercial or re-selling is illegal under the 1998 Copyright Act

Studio hire

Booking times The period of hire includes your setting up and clearing away. Please note that studio may not be ready or available if you or your party arrives early. A late start by the hirer will reduce the shooting time within the period of hire
Health and Safety We ask that the hirer or members of the party do not move the lights or any other studio equipment unless they have had a full health and safety tuition session prior to the shoot (currently £30 for one hour training)
Damage or loss The hirer is liable in full for any damage or loss of equipment or to the fabric of the studio. No smoking or naked flame allowed
Booking fee The booking fee is transferable to another person, but not to another date or time. This is a no-cancellation policy.
Insurance We recommend that professional photographers have full professional liabilty and public indemnity insurance
