There is a free car-park right outside the entrance to our studio in the Middle Mill, Darley Abbey, Derby. No need to worry about traffic jams or parking tickets! If you would like help with carrying anything, please ring us from the carpark, we will be with you straightaway.

 

 

 

 

 

Arriving

Relax and enjoy complimentary drinks, juices or maybe some wine, and chocolates in our reception area. Take in the views over Derbyshire, in the day time, or be entranced by the magical atmosphere of nighttime in the mill.

 

 

 

 

 

Makeup and styling

Have fun experimenting with the different styles as our make-up artist applies make-up, hair styling and accessories in our Hollywood style make-up area.

Model briefing

Now you'll be rearing to get started, and we'll help at the beginning with a short briefing of how to appear in front of the camera, with hints and tips about successful posing techniques that will take you confidently through the shoot and will hold you in good stead whenever you 're in front of the lens!

Photography

So let's go! Stun the world! Do your shoot while we use using the latest digital equipment and lighting which gives you the best experience.

 


Explore the character of the mill, with its original sash windows, stone floor, and patched walls to create an atmosphere of urban cool.

 

 

or use the white wall background for a clean contemporary look. Try coloured backgrounds or a simple black backgrounds for a classical look.

 

 

Have fun experimenting with different images, as you change outfits and our stylist creates new looks with make-up, hair and accessories throughout the shoot.

 

 

Have the wind machine blow and lift your hair for a fashion /pop-video look:

Prints

Then decide which images you'd like framed or printed into stunning prints up to A2 size. You can choose to have your images put into a modeling portfolio, have them framed or unmounted so you can frame them yourself.
